Parkinson's Disease
Support begins when care is thoughtfully tailored to how you move, how you feel, and how you experience life each day—because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither is living with Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s Disease doesn’t look the same for everyone. That’s why we begin with understanding what your experience looks like—how symptoms show up in your body, what challenges you’re facing, and what daily life feels like right now. From there, we create a care plan that helps improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and restore a greater sense of control and confidence. We work with individuals at every stage of Parkinson’s to offer support that feels manageable and meaningful—without adding stress or overwhelming the system. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or navigating long-term symptoms, our focus is on improving your quality of life, one small win at a time.

Areas of focus:
-
Tremors or muscle stiffness
-
Slowed movement (bradykinesia)
-
Balance challenges and fall risk
-
Fatigue and postural instability
-
Difficulty with walking or coordination
-
Emotional changes or cognitive shifts
How We Support Parkinson’s Patients
At Functional Neurology Brain Center of Florida, our goal is to support the person living with Parkinson’s. That means celebrating what’s working, gently strengthening what’s not, and creating a space where progress—no matter how small—is always honored.
Treatment may include gentle movement and coordination exercises, visual-motor activities, sensory integration, and balance work. We also incorporate Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CAPS), an advanced tool designed to assess and enhance balance, coordination, and spatial awareness—key areas impacted by Parkinson’s.

Our approach begins with a detailed, non-invasive assessment to identify where support is most needed—whether that’s improving balance, coordination, stability, or focus. We take time to understand your comfort levels and goals so that every step of care fits your capacity and rhythm.
